About Us
Founder Carlie Ashcroft, set up the The Playhouse Project to meet the needs of a growing group of parents whose night time clubbing days may be behind them but aren’t ready to hang up their dancing shoes just yet. The aim was to give mums and dads the chance to go clubbing with their kids in a safe and fun environment. We have been organising family rave events since 2016. Our first event took place in Solomons bar, Withington, since then we have grown significantly holding indoor and outdoor events at a wide range of venues such as Victoria baths, The Refuge and Camp and Furnace. We have been involved in collaborations with large family events - ParentFolk, BEYOND MCR and The Refuge Weekender events. We are currently planning for festival season 2019.

Reviews
***** "Absolutely brilliant event at the Masonic Hall for Halloween - everything had been thought of including a chill out area, story room and cake making. Loved the dancer in the main room too! Can't wait for the next one." Siobhan Parker, November 3rd 2016***** "We had a fantastic time at the free family rave that the Playhouse Project put on at the Bankswood festival last weekend. The setup looked great, the DJs were especially good - the music was brilliant, no cheesy pop tunes just quality dance from years gone by. Kids had a great time, dancing away and so did the adults!"
